Homeboat Nieuwpoort: Unique stay at our Belgian Coast

Homeboat Nieuwpoort: Unique stay at our Belgian Coast

A unique stay on a homeboat in the heart of Nieuwpoort, who could resist?

General information

Homeboat Nieuwpoort is a houseboat (without navigation) located in the small and quiet harbour of Westhoek Marina. The homeboat has 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and 1 room with bunk beds. There is also an extensive kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower and 2 terraces with deck chairs to enjoy the beautiful view. The homeboat consists mainly of glass, which always gives you that outdoor feeling. There is a television, but this is not connected to digital TV. If you wish to watch TV, it is best to provide this yourself.

Food & Drinks

Breakfast can be additionally booked through Bar Juliette, a partner of Homeboat Nieuwpoort. For dinner there are several restaurants in town, some with take-away options. Or of course you can provide your own food, as there is an extensive kitchen in the homeboat.

Activities

When people talk about Nieuwpoort, they naturally think of a mini holiday on the beach. But Nieuwpoort has so much more to offer. Just think of the cycling and walking routes, King Albert I monument, Ganzepoot lock complex, nature reserve IJzermonding, etc. During our stay we booked an excursion via Flanders Tours to discover the famous seals of Nieuwpoort.

Practical information

During the high season (April - October) the homeboat is booked out very quickly. So be quick. Heating and air conditioning are available. Free Wi-Fi and bed linen are also provided on board.

Our experience

Even though our stay was during the middle of winter (bad weather), we fully enjoyed our stay at Homeboat Nieuwpoort. You can really enjoy the panoramic view and see the best sunsets. You pay the same price for a stay in a hotel in Nieuwpoort, but Homeboat Nieuwpoort made from our stay a unique experience.
